[§367] Rev 22:3-4: There Is No More Curse, and Servants Serve God

Revelation 22:3: And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him

In Revelation 22:1-2, John compared the glorious conditions in the celestial kingdom to the paradisiacal conditions found in the Garden of Eden.1 The comparison continues here as John's angelic guide states that there shall be no more curse.2 The curse3 refers to the telestial conditions of the entire earth4 that came to exist after the fall of Adam.5 At that time, physical and spiritual death entered the world6 and everything was subject to the maladies of mortality.7 Fortunately, all things once cursed on the telestial earth will be resurrected and made new with the celestial earth.8 There will be no evil9 or corruption of any kind.10 The curse of temporal and spiritual death will be no more.11 Only immortality and eternal life will exist in the celestial kingdom.12 The telestial curse cannot coexist with the celestial glory of the Father and the Son,13 whose presence is represented by the throne of God and of the Lamb.14

God and the Lamb shall reign on the celestial earth15 from their collective throne in complete unity as though they were one.16 John speaks of them both as one,17 saying, his servants shall serve him.18 God's servants in the celestial kingdom are the saints that served him on earth.19 Things done on earth are in the similitude of things done in heaven.20 His servants include the 144,000 Servants from the Church of the Firstborn.21 They are exalted Gods22 that will rule in their own right as kings and queens.23 Nevertheless, they still serve God,24 whose continuing work is to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man."25 The end of God's work (singular) on this earth26 is just the beginning of the works (plural) by his servants on countless other worlds.27 God's exalted children will serve him as they bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of the next generation28 of begotten spirit children.29 The children of God's children will increase God's kingdoms, dominions, thrones, and principalities as they add increase to their own kingdoms.30 God's course is truly one eternal round because the end of one generation of spirit children is the start of the next generation in God's continuing works and glory.31

Revelation 22:4: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

The servants of God will dwell in God's presence and they shall see his face.32 They will symbolically have the name of God and Christ written in their foreheads33 because they are his servants34 and his property forever.35 This symbol will become a reality when God's exalted children literally become as God is.36 They will become Gods,37 but they will still belong to God the Father, who will always stand above them as he does now38 in the hierarchy of Gods.39
