[§193] Jehovah Was the Physical Creator in This Generation

God the Father‒the spirit creator‒created the spirit bodies of all things in this universe in his generation.1 In addition, he was the literal father for the physical bodies2 of Adam and Eve on this earth.3 Finally, he also was the literal father of the first Adam and first Eve on countless other worlds.4 Jehovah‒the physical creator‒created physical bodies5 for all God's spirit creations,6 except for the physical bodies of God's spirit children.7 Every physical body looks exactly like its inner spirit body, and the inner spirit gives life to the outer physical body.8

The physical creation did not begin until after the grand council on Kolob.9 In that council, God selected Jehovah to be the physical creator10 because Jehovah was the firstborn of the Father and he held the birthright.11 Jehovah was also sinless and perfect in his first estate and, therefore, qualified himself to be both the Redeemer and the physical creator.12 To comply with the theocratic order in heaven,13 Jehovah had to be called and chosen14 as the physical creator and Redeemer.15 Furthermore, all God's spirit children had to be present at the council to accept or reject Jehovah's selection by common consent.16 The same theocratic principle exists today in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.17 When God presented Jehovah for a sustaining vote, there was a shout of joy18 among the sons of God that sustained him.19 Lucifer and his rebellious followers rejected Jehovah's call and did not join in that joyous shout.20 Notwithstanding Lucifer's opposition,21 the foundations were laid during the grand council for Jehovah to begin the physical creation.22

Based on the established Order of Creation,23 Jehovah began the physical creation by first organizing countless worlds.24 He began to create worlds of the mineral kingdom25 because they possessed the least intelligence26 of all God's spirit creations.27 According to the Order of Creation, the order and sequence of the physical creation was reversed from the order and sequence of the spirit creation. Thus, the last and least intelligent spirit world created by the Father during the spirit creation28 became the first world that Jehovah clothed with physical element during the physical creation.29 After organizing the first and lowest world of the physical creation,30 Jehovah organized countless other physical worlds in ascending order of their inward intelligence from telestial, to terrestrial, and finally to celestial.31 The spirit world called Kolob was the first and most intelligent world of the spirit creation,32 which means it was also the last celestial world of Christ's physical creations in this generation.33

Four main kingdoms will exist in eternity after the resurrection. In ascending order they include outer darkness, followed by the telestial, terrestrial, and celestial kingdoms.34 These four-fold kingdoms suggests that Jehovah organized four classes of physical worlds,35 beginning with the world of least intelligence that would become part of outer darkness.36 However, outer darkness is uncreated space.37 It came to exist when God withdrew his spirit from this remote area of the universe at the time of the spirit creation.38 Outer darkness is so far removed from the presence of God that it does not possess any light39 or glory of any kind.40 It will be the permanent residence41 of Satan and all sons of perdition‒both unembodied and resurrected.42 These sons of perdition will be the only life forms in outer darkness.43 Here they will suffer the second death44 after the resurrection45 and final judgment.46 Outer darkness is metaphorically called the lake of fire and brimstone.47

Just as God did not create a spirit world to become a place of outer darkness, Jehovah did not create any physical world(s) to become a place of outer darkness after the resurrection. He did, however, organize countless worlds in ascending order of intelligence48 to become resurrected worlds for the three kingdoms of glory. These include physical worlds of the telestial, terrestrial, and celestial order.49 He first began with physical worlds that will become part of the telestial kingdom50 followed by worlds of the terrestrial kingdom.51 From the beginning of their creation, Jehovah organized these lesser worlds to abide telestial or terrestrial law according to the capacities of their inward spirits.52

God did not dictate the measure of intelligence possessed by any spirit world that he created.53 This is also true of the inward spirits he created for all plants and animals.54 Each spirit world became a telestial, terrestrial, or celestial world during the spirit creation based on the measure or capacity of its inward intelligence,55 which God did not create.56 The corresponding physical worlds created by Jehovah also fill the same measure of their creation57 based on the intelligence58 that each spirit world inherently possessed.59

Mortal people do not inhabit the telestial and terrestrial physical worlds that Jehovah organized with their lesser measures of intelligence.60 This is true for at least four reasons.

  1. Intelligences of like capacity from every sphere, including minerals, plants, animals, and people, are matched in the physical creation.61 Doctrine and Covenants Section 88:40 states that "intelligence cleaveth unto intelligence; wisdom receiveth wisdom; truth embraceth truth; virtue loveth virtue; light cleaveth unto light."62 This mortal existence or second estate63 exists for God's children to achieve celestial glory forever.64 Therefore, they are matched in the physical creation with minerals, plants, and animals that have the same celestial capacity in their sphere to fill the measure of their creation.65
  2. Many of God's children that enter mortality will never qualify for the celestial kingdom.66 But they all have the capacity to do so and must be given that opportunity.67 Therefore, they are born on a physical world that abides celestial law.68 On such worlds the opportunity exists for all people to live celestial law,69 which is the gospel of Jesus Christ.70
  3. When God's children use their agency71 to obey celestial law72 they will qualify for the celestial kingdom.73 This earth, and other celestial worlds like it, exist as a celestial proving ground74 where celestial law exists.75 All celestial worlds will become part of the celestial kingdom76 to be inherited by their celestial-worthy inhabitants77 after the resurrection.78 Therefore, all people must live their mortal lives79 on a celestial world that was designed to become part of the celestial kingdom that they will inherit and dwell on forever, if worthy.80
  4. Anyone who fails to live celestial law,81 and abides any lesser law,82 will be removed from their celestial earth83 at the resurrection.84 They will dwell forever on some lesser world85 numbered among the Lord's many mansions.86 Their future world will abide the same lesser law87 that such people follow during their mortal lives88 and in the postmortal spirit world before the resurrection.89

Based on the Order of Creation, Jehovah organized physical celestial worlds last during the physical creation because their spirits possess the greatest intelligence of all worlds in this generation.90 Jehovah organized the first celestial world when the premortal apostasy in heaven ended and the war in heaven began as recorded in Revelation 12:7.91 He continued to create celestial worlds in ascending order of intelligence until he organized this earth as the last celestial world of this generation with Kolob as its inward spirit.92 Kolob's physical creation occurred when the war in heaven ended and Satan himself was cast down to live upon this physical earth with a host of unembodied spirits that followed him as recorded in Revelation 12:9.93

The organization of this earth is typical94 of many other physical worlds that Jehovah organized as the habitation of mortal people.95 Therefore, the creation accounts in Genesis 1-2, Moses 2-3, and Abraham 4-5 provide a creation blueprint for virtually all habitable (celestial) worlds.96 These accounts indicate that the creative sequence took seven days or creative periods of 1000 years each.97 During each creative period the physical minerals, plants, animals, and humans98 were organized in ascending order of their respective classes of intelligences.99 These physical creations occurred in heaven.100 Physical plants, animals, and humans (i.e., Adam and Eve) were placed on earth during the seventh day of the creative process. That's when all life began on earth.101

Based on the Order of Creation generally, and the creative pattern given in the books of Genesis, Moses and Abraham, the creative sequence for each celestial world is quite easy to follow when considered in isolation. The pattern becomes much more complex, however, as the physical creation of many worlds enter the equation, plus an immense number of plants and animals for all the many telestial and terrestrial worlds. Fortunately, in Doctrine and Covenants 88:51-61, the Parable of the Lord of the Fields teaches that the creation of celestial worlds is consecutive and without overlap.102 While this parable focuses solely on celestial worlds, the information helps identify the likely sequence used in the physical creation of plants and animals on telestial and terrestrial worlds, as follows:

The spirit world of lowest intelligence was the first to be physically organized together with all the plants, animals and humans of correspondingly low intelligence. It seems logical that when Jehovah was ready to place countless varieties of plants and animals on this first physical world in their ascending order,103 he also placed plants and animals on the telestial and terrestrial worlds of correspondingly low intelligence in their ascending order.104 This assumes that there is a relationship and connectedness between the lowest celestial world of human habitation and the other telestial and terrestrial worlds of lowest intelligence in their classes, respectively. There is an apparent connection because telestial and terrestrial worlds of lowest intelligence are the logical place for humans to dwell if they fail to live celestial law on the first and lowest celestial world. The spirits of plants and animals appointed to these connected worlds are also the least intelligent in their order and sphere.105 However, they still abide telestial or terrestrial law, respectively, according to the measure of their creation.106

The Order of Creation for the physical creation is from lowest to highest intelligence.107 Therefore, before plants were physically organized for the first physical celestial world in their ascending order of intelligence,108 physical plants were first organized in heaven for the connected telestial worlds and then terrestrial worlds in ascending order. When the physical creation of plants was complete in heaven for the connected telestial and terrestrial worlds, then plants for the first celestial world were created in heaven in their ascending order.

After plants were created in heaven for the first celestial world and its connected telestial and terrestrial worlds, the creation proceeded with the physical creation of animals in heaven for the same worlds in ascending order using the same process.109 Once all animals were physically created in heaven for the first celestial world and its connected telestial and terrestrial worlds, God the Father created the first Adam and the first Eve in heaven for this first celestial world. On the seventh day of the creative process for this first celestial world, all life began on that earth and on all its connected terrestrial and telestial worlds.

Assuming the foregoing pattern of creation is correct, then this pattern repeats every 14,000 years. That is necessarily the case, if the first celestial world of the physical creation and all succeeding worlds had the same 14,000-year lifespan as this earth. If that is the case, then the first celestial earth of the physical creation died 14,000 years after its physical creation commenced, and the pattern of creation consecutively repeated every 14,000 years until Kolob's physical creation occurred on this earth with Kolob as its inward spirit. Kolob was the last physical world created by Jehovah (Christ) in this generation.

The timing and appointed place for all physical creations were predetermined according to the measure of their intelligence and existing laws that governed their creation.110 All plants and animals fill the measure of their creation111 so they will be resurrected to glory112 and they will beautify the telestial or terrestrial worlds of their mortal existence.113

Mankind is the most intelligent class of all God's spirit creations,114 which means their physical bodies were created last during the physical creation.115 God the Father organized by procreation the physical bodies of the first Adam and the first Eve116 on each celestial world physically organized by Jehovah in their order.117

All physical worlds, plants, animals, and humans were created in heaven in an immortal state.118 All things remained in that state until a first Adam on each inhabited celestial world fell by partaking of a forbidden fruit just as Adam did on this earth.119 When each Adam fell on each of the many celestial worlds of the physical creation, then everything on that earth fell with him, including each earth.120 With each such fall, there seems to be a corresponding fall on the telestial and terrestrial worlds connected to each such celestial world. This conclusion seems apparent since Christ's infinite atonement on this earth redeemed all the worlds of his creation infinitely.121

The manner and timing of the fall on telestial and terrestrial worlds has not been revealed. However, the pattern of the fall by a first Adam on each of the many celestial earths suggests there were corresponding falls in the life forms on other terrestrial and telestial earths that Jehovah organized.122 That is, the fall of an Adam on each celestial world of the physical creation caused a fall to occur on all other connected terrestrial and telestial worlds. God's children are the connection between these fallen worlds. In other words, just as God's children were appointed to dwell on a particular celestial earth in mortality,123 terrestrial and telestial worlds were appointed to become their eternal dwelling places if they failed to qualify for celestial glory on the world of their mortality. Therefore, each time an Adam fell on a celestial earth, there was a corresponding fall of the connected terrestrial and telestial worlds and all their lifeforms. The infinite atonement of Christ on this earth redeems them all.124
